We have worked in partnership with a number of bodies including Cirencester Town Council, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, Friends of Gumstool Brook and other local community groups.

From 2019-2022 we worked in support of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust’s Wild Town Projects. This led to a number of enhancements for nature including wildflower meadows where we carried out botanical surveys.

Since 2023 we have held regular work parties City Bank Local Nature Reserve. We liaise with the Town Council about habitat management issues and in 2025 we delivered an updated management plan for City Bank Local Nature Reserve. We have also made subtantial submissions to the Cirencester neighbourhood plan, which is currently in draft and due for publication, and are also contributing to Cirencester Town Council’s Green Spaces Strategy.

In 2024, we carried out a survey and report on the condition of Cirencester’s rivers which was delivered to the Town Council. We also supported the Symposium on Cirencester’s waterways at the RAU in summer 2024 and are one of the member groups of The Cirencester and Churn Waterways and Environment Partnership.

We also produced the Wildlife Walking Map detailing walking routes connecting Cirencester’s green spaces you can see below:
